All 7 volunteers are in some way or another on their way towards Malawi. 1 is already on a flight headed over the ocean, 4 of us are headed to Indianapolis to spend the night, 1 will meet us at the airport in Indy tomorrow and 1 is on his way to Washington D.C. to meet up with the rest of us in the morning. I know that my sights are set on completing this kitchen and doing all I can to provide an experience of a lifetime for those who have chosen to travel with me. I know we are in for many surprises and adventures and at this point we have no idea the people we will meet or the lessons we will learn. These trips take a great deal of preparation both mental and otherwise. I think the 7 of us are ready and it is looking as if this group will be a great one.

As I said in the prior post I will communicate when I can and hopefully provide a window into what we are all experiencing each day.

I am excited to see my friends in Malawi and reconnect, and I will touch base here once we reach our destination!
