Monday and more hospitals
06/23/2015Tuesday! Finally a hum drum day!!! Yay!
06/24/2015Back at the village Monday night we had a speaker coming from the ministry of education to talk to the group. All of the volunteers told me about their day at the school and it seemed as if things had begun to “click”. Everyone felt more comfortable and things were moving along. Greg was excited to tell me about his work with the building crew and all in all it seemed like they all had a great day!
Our guest speaker arrived and we all ate together while learning about education in Malawi. The volunteers asked lots of questions and really learned a lot. Some great conversations were sparked and everyone seemed overwhelmed at the information we all were getting.
Each morning we are up very early so I wanted to get to bed. I was exhausted from my day’s events and the group also was worn out. I think we all turned in before 10pm.
I’m feeling so proud that everyone is now fully caught up on what’s been happening here! I think I lost sleep because the blog was behind. I’m doing my best to keep it updated, but please forgive me if it isn’t possible.
Thank you for all the support. I can feel the good vibes all the way here in Malawi! xxoo E
